Fabrication of 1947 Hudson Pickup Door and Completed Cab

This is the completion of our 1947 Hudson Pickup project demonstrating our fabrication, welding, and metal finishing skills.

Shaping new steel door skin for Hudson pickup door on vintage power hammer.
Newly fabricated lower Hudson pickup door box primed and ready for new skin.
New Hudson pickup door skin crimped and tack welded in position.
Metal finished Hudson door, lead finished seams for uniform gap and flush fit.

Partial fabrication of rear fenders. Fabrication of rear bed. Fabrication of fuel tank. All work is metal finished. All gaps and lines lead finished as needed for exacting flow and uniformity.

On March 23rd 2019 we had the privilege of hosting a group from the Rolls-Royce Owners Club of America. Members gathered from across the country to learn the fundamentals of shaping metal using traditional techniques and equipment of the coachbuilding trade. Much noise and fun was experienced by all.

This project highlights our work on a Lotus replica body and engine components.

Ferrari 308 Radiator Reconstruction

Damaged Ferrari 308 radiator.

Repaired lower tank all fittings re-soldered in preparation for assembly.

New core prepared for assembly.
